Tracking off!

Don’t forget Wed. is a short day! D track gets off at 1:25. Also, It is vehicle day tomorrow! It is supposed to rain, so have your children dress accordingly!

Math, Spelling, and Vocab.

There will not be any math homework or spelling and vocab.  this week, due to the fact that it’s a short week and we’re tracking off.

Music

Please remind your children that they need to bring their recorders on Monday! : )

Books for Africa

Parents! One of our students at school is collecting books to donate to children in Africa! They are going over this summer to help build a library. If you have anything you would like to donate, please bring it before we go off track! I am sure those kids would really appreciate it!

Pioneer Day!

Dear Parents-

The Friday of the week we track back on- May 14- we will be having Pioneer Day as a whole class! Due to the fact that we won’t have time to take care of planning the week of, we are planning this week. Two notes have been sent home. Please read them over. They yellow one must be returned. Anything you have is due by this Friday! If student’s don’t bring it back, they must bring a lunch from home and cannot buy a school cold lunch. Thanks for your help!

Tests this week!

Tomorrow there will be a math test on decimals. They need to know how to estimate, add, and subtract them. Everyone has done pretty well in class. The biggest mistakes that I notice are that they forget to line-up the decimals or they forget to see if they are supposed to add or subtract and get the wrong answer.

There will also be a science test on Rocks, Minerals, and Soil on Wed. and Thrus. this week. I told the class they could take home their notes to study.

Math Box: April 12-17

This week, there will be a green packet, of worksheets on probability, coming home. The whole packet needs to be complete and is due on Friday. We will be doing a review and test over decimals the first part of the week, so we will not be looking at this new unit on “probablility” until Wednesday. When we come back on track we will start our regular mathbox again.

Recorders!

Monday, the class has music! Please have your child bring the recorder!
